Joseph Mazzello - Child Star of Yesterday

Where'd he go? That cute little kid who starred in "Radio Flyer," "Jurrassic Park," and "The River Wild." Did he fall into the only cute as a young boy, not so cute as a young man syndrome?

Another casuality.

He took time out from acting to complete his schooling, and presently studies film at USC. I don't think he's even twenty yet.

Good actor; Could be the next Ron Howard...

Did you check IMDb?

Yeah, and it shows that he's 5'7" and there's no picture. That always worries me. You're right about his age - he was born in 1983, so he'd be about 20 now.

He was great in The Cure, which I wish Universal would release to DVD. Heck, where is Radio Flyer on DVD for that matter?!

I believe he's working behind the camera now, or getting ready to.

Yeah, for two years there, he was in lots of high-profile stuff, and then he kinda disappeared. Then he did Can't Hardly Wait...and since then he's disappeared again.

From IMDb:

He currently serves as Deputy Domestic Policy Analyst for the House Republican Policy Committee of the U. S. House of Representatives.

He was in the CSI Epsiode "One Hit Wonder" and was on "Without A Trace" in the past year. He's also in the upcoming "Raising Helen" flick (Kate Hudson movie).

I remember seeing him in an ep of Without A Trace last fall. It took me a minute or two to recognize him.

He was in The Social Network but it's a pretty small part. He's one of the leads in The Pacific.

Re: Joseph Mazzello - Child Star of Yesterday

apparently, David Fincher didn't even realize Joseph had been Jurassic Park, as he explains on the Social Network commentary track. It seems that Joe doesn't seem like to harp on his claim to fame on being 'that kid' from Jurassic Park.

Try to spot Ernie from "My Three Sons". He's in it, too.

Re: Joseph Mazzello - Child Star of Yesterday

I thought his performance in The Pacific was wretched, not so much for The Social Network
