Dead Ringers Question

I recently came across a copy of Dead Ringers used, but the cover didn't match anything I've seen online. Everything I've seen online is the white cover with the three faces.

What versions of Dead Ringers are there, and are they all OOP? Is it worth picking up?

Almost certainly boots. I'm virtually certain there's only one and it looks like this:

It is OOP and, in my opinion, it is worth picking up.

I think there was another release by Anchor Bay. I'm not sure what the cover looked liked.

There was most definitely an Anchor Bay release, but everybody shows the Criterion cover.

I guess the Anchor Bay cover is very similar to the Criterion...

i've been pretty interested in this movie for awhile, is there no currently in print r1 version? also, is the criterion worth spending the extra money for? i'm not huge on commentary, so i'm talking video and audio quality. thanks!

I'm thinking the one I saw was that UK version you posted, X.

If so, it's most likely not Region 1, and not OOP.

No current in print R1 DVD available... I'm really curious about the rights, who owns them and what their plans might be concerning a future DVD. The CC has good picture quality but it is not anamorphic (1.66:1 or not, it should be anamorphic). Sound quality is fine. Neither are going to win any awards anytime soon however... The extras are quite good. As for the film, it is excellent and is Cronenberg's best...

I thought Existenz was as good or maybe even better than Dead Ringers.

Probably not the place to say, but I've got a new / sealed one for sale or trade if anyone's dying for it.

I live in Australia tho.

Have had good trades with a couple of guys from the US but I forgot what their names on here are!!! LOL
