Pitch Black
Pitch Black has some pretty well done movie posters, but none of them really show off the style of the film to me. Thus, using only my own screen captures, I have created a completely custom cover for the movie. With the exception of the barcode and misc. logos, everything on here is from scratch. I'm particularly interested in hearing what people think with this cover because I myself have never really tried anything like this before. Thanks in advance for the input! Here's a preview:

Awsome cover, will absolutly download it when its available.
Theres only one thing you should change:
use the "pitch black" font abd style that you use on the front on the spline to, its much more good looking.
everything else is fine

Unfortunately, the fonts don't look good on the spine. I tried maybe 50 different sizing and spacings and couldn't get anything to work.
As for the grey boxes, I wanted to make it look like an official release.
I'll play around with the spine a little more to see if I can make it a little better. Thanks for the kind words

Changed the spine font to match the rest of the cover. It doesn't really look as "professional" as it did, but it does match much better.
Hope you like it

Great work!
I agree that none of the covers out there really capture the spirit of the film, but yours does it beautifully.
I also agree that the grey boxes don't really work. They're the only grey on the cover, and they stick out too much. Perhaps making them white?

To tell the truth, I've tried both white and several shades of blue and nothing really works. I guess for now I'll leave it grey and maybe utilize DVDCA's "download the same cover more than once but only get charged once policy" if somebody out there can find something that works better.
As a side note, making the box all black didn't look 'right'
