After 2 years of complaining, they finally added FX to their lineup on April 2nd. Just in time to miss the entire season of The Shield. Great.

Same here. (Though I was complaining about it for more like six years.)

At least we'll finally be able to enjoy the 90210 re-runs.

Don't worry, they showed season 1 over and over again. It's better that you didn't come on in the middle or the end of the season. Also, the new show Lucky that's taking it's timeslot looks pretty good. Plus, you can catch Buffy from the beginning starting today if you want.

I was thinking the same thing when I was going through the schedule on Tivo. I didn't even know they still played that show.

Comcast added it to ours about a month earlier.

Thanks to the recent marathons, I've got all 13 (?) stored up on my TiVo to watch in the next couple weeks... I just gotta figure out the right order of the episode names, as they were recorded randomly...

But, but, but… I see commercials all the time that say “Call your cable company…” and I naturally believed that if I call my cable company they will happily add Channel [X] to their lineup. You mean I’ve been lied to all these years?? :hscratch:

Jeez, it’s not like Fx is some niche channel…

You guys have had the Food Channel for years, though, right? -rolleyes-

I'm happy my cable company finally added WGN back to the lineup....just in time to catch an entire season of the Cubbies losing. (Although they spanked the Mets good in their opener).

I always figured FX was carried everywhere until I was listening to the commentary for The Shield and they mentioned that there were a lot of markets where the show wasn't carried.

Here's hoping Lucky is a good show.

There were two channels I wanted-- Trio & Oxygen. I kept calling my cable company to request it. The Oxygen omission was strange because my mom who has Comcast in the next city had it, but they didn't have it on my system. I emailed them about it and they got back to me with "There are no plans to add either to your system."

So I got DirecTv and when they asked me why I was leaving I told them they didn't offer two channels I wanted. There wasn't any way for them to try and talk me back as a customer form saying that. (There were other reasons for switching also but they couldn't argue with me about their lineup.)

I am definitely going to check Lucky out. Already have it set to record.

Ah, Oxygen. Aka "The Xena/Hitchcock Network."

Does anyone know when The Sheild Season 2 would start re-running? By the time I got through the DVDs for season 1 they were already up to episode 8. I am anxious to start in on Season 2. Any chance they'll do a 13 ep marathon soon?

That's funny because mine took away WGN and replaced it with the National Geographic Channel of all things. I honestly don't know why I put up their BS.
