Advice for 3-4 play NON-SPORTS game for GC

I'm soon going to be taking my GameCube to the beach this summer and want to get a decent game or two that can play more than two players but isn't a sports title. I'm sure there's Tetris or a Mario game or two out there that would be good, but I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or insights anyone could provide on a good pick.

Thanks!

I highly recommend Mario Party 4 and the Super Monkey Ball games.

I know you said no sports, but at the beach maybe Beach Spikers volleyball would be fun. If not that, then maybe Gauntlet, the new D&D game coming out for four players, and the multiplayer aspects of Timesplitters 2, 007: Nightfire, or Medal of Honor.

Oh, and Mario Kart. Oh wait, that's not out yet. Grrr.

Personally, I like Bomberman. Super Smash Bros. is fun too. Mario Party 4 is a good game, but extremely slow. If you like shoot-em-ups, Timesplitters 2 might be the only decent game on the Cube. Maybe the new James Bond one too (Nightfire?).

Super Smash Bros. and Super Monkey Ball 2 are two of the best multiplayer games on the market for any system. I also suggest you look into Smuggler's Run: Warzones. It's a hell of a lot of fun for up to 4 players and you can easily find it for $20 or less.

Wait a minute

You're going to the beach.
You're going to spend your time playing GameCube?

Well you need the Gamecube for the second day after everyone lays out in the sun all of the first day without lotion because "they won't burn, they'll just tan."

Rent a house for the whole summer... 18 wks... it is bound to rain occassionally and we don't go out drinking EVERY night we're there!

Thanks for pointing out the James Bond games. Never realized they were 4 player!!!!
