Subject pretty much sums it up. I want to be able to use a dreamcast controller for MAME.

Some of my friends are working specifically on this problem. They are building a "generic controller" to USB adapter. Basically, you'll have the adapter, which plugs into a USB port. Then, you'll buy modules for whichever controllers you wish to use. Plug the module into the adapter, and the controller into the module, and you'll be able to use it with whatever emulator you choose.

It's currently in beta phase. It works, and they have the final circuit board made (it's about 1"x1.5"x3.5"), but they only have modules for the SNES controller. I actually played F-Zero using a real SNES controller and an emulator. It's pretty much perfect.

I'll post more when they actually start shipping.
