First I like edward furlong. His acting is so natural maybe thats because he always looks stoned. O well but this movie is great. The whole concept of a video game that makes you murder is just to awsome. I picked up the dvd today I was really hoping for some extras but o well at least it was widescreen.

It's just you.
It's forgettable, but admittedly, it's a fine premise for a film. Just doesn't gel well.

Man, I really like Brainscan and I was really looking forward to the DVD. But then I found out it was going to be $20 at most places for a barebones disc. :whofart: Uh, no thanks. I might also pick it up when it's cheaper. Much cheaper. Or, ya know, just buy it used somewhere.

I can't wait for the remake where they get Marilyn Manson to play Trickster.

Hehehe j/k of course.
As for Brainscan, I remember loving it years ago but have yet to see it on DVD.
Will probably throw it on my next order.

The movie was fun, but it's not one of the coolest movies ever made.
That honor goes to Kangaroo Jack.

Well it's cooler than "Cool as Ice" if that's what you mean. ;)

That movie rocked House man. Vanilla Ice in his prime. "You should ditch that Zero and step up to this hero". Why it didnt win best picture I will never know

Anyone else notice that MGM mis-spelled Trickster as Truckster on the back of the DVD?

There was another movie made along this line called "Arcade", I have both movies
but I prefer Arcade more than Brainscan. Brainstorm with Christopher Walken and Natalie Wood is a good movie, I watch that over and over.

Some of the 90's hi-tech devices in the movie are laughable; like the Igor phone, and the CD-Rom caddy.
But I can say that no videogame system yet has such photo-realistic graphics.
I love this movie!
The ending blew me away.

I was wanted to get it until I saw the msrp for the Dvd and no features. I'am with others who will wait until its 9.99 or less. it might end up being a 5.88 walmart buy in the future.

Arcade was okay... special effects stunk..but it was a Full Moon flick. Loved it when I first saw it.... didn't feel the same second viewing but can still appreciate the fine acting of Mr. Billingsly. :)
Brainscan..great flick.... fun for all!

I really enjoyed Brainscan. It's a fun film. Soundtracks pretty good too.
