I do check gamerankings. Can't find an actual *review* at Gamenow (and I'm not subscribing!). That 5%/F doesn't look good, and the preview impressions didn't seem that bad. I'm hoping this is a good playable title; I'll wait for some hands-on comments here or a 'real' review.

Just for the hell of it i tried it on an emulator for like 3 minutes and imo it is horrible... it's hard to tell what you're doing the cars coming at you look like old atari game cars. It just didn't appeal to me at all and i loved the original..

Crazy Taxi is one of my favorites too..
Not that I eve had hope in THQ, but I guess I should lay the final nail in the coffin of "GBA Jet Grind Radio is going to suck!"..

glassdragon, I saw your comment, but wasn't sure if the emulator would p[lay the same as a GBA. I guess you're saying it does. If so, can you give any more details? (I loved the original too--it was the reason why I bought a Dreamcast, and I'm usually slow to pick up new consoles, having a huge backlog of older games and not enough time to play!)
Pixy, do you think JGR on the GBA will suck? I think I read they were using the Tony Hawk engine. And *maybe* it will be smoother/more detailed without attempting a polygon environment. I'm still hoping--I also loved JGR on the DC!!!

yeah the emulator plays it just like the gba would... the resolution might be better on the gba but the graphics were choppy... you know those old games where a car would come at you in 3d but it would move so that you could see every frame of it moving towards you... that's what it looked like to me. i couldn't even stomach it as i know the gba is capable of much more than this.. hope that helps
