I called EB in Seattle yesterday and they said today. I called today and they said tomorrow. I read on another forum that some Gamestops are saying Thursday.

EB told me the Friday the 4th today. That's fine, I'll just wait and see if it's on sale at BB or the like this Sunday.

To have a 2 player game do you need 2 carts?

yes and no. if you want to play on 2 seperate gbas, you need 2 carts. but you can play two players on one gba. IIRC, first player uses d-pad and L button and 2nd player uses b, a, and R button.

So no way you can play two player on a single GBA SP, then. Although I have to admit that it's a neat concept.
