Thread names being changed
Ok, I have a little bone to pick.
I was looking for one thread today that i've been keeping up with, and I couldnt' find it. So I had to carefully read through ALL of the thread names, just to try and figure out where it went.
Sure enough, the name had been changed, and I'm sure the change was done unwillingly.
It's one thing to just start randomly changing peoples names to stuff, but when you change thread names it just makes it a greater hastle for people to try and keep up with them.
I'm just asking that this not be done in the future..

I believe the thread you were looking for is here, http://dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread....hreadid=282754
Asking us to not monkey with thread titles is like asking a crackhead to stop using crack.

Actually, it was another thread...the one by 'Rypro PG-13' (another name changed).
If you CANT stop, then maybe there's a problem. Should we get a support group together and send you all to forum re-hab?

Sorry, the ear one is a bad example. You would not have been able to search even if the thread was not changed. You can't search for ear as it's only 3 letters.
3DD, it's getting harder and harder.
The other one? Do a search for fist instead

I like changing thread titles when there is some ambiguouity in the title or else if it's about a deal and then the deal suddenly dies. Many a-time as a member I remember clicking on "Roger Rabbit for $14.99!" only to click on the thread and see it's back up to $21.99. I consider it a pretty good thing to do and usually won't radically change the title, only a small detail.
