This sounds like a cool movie. Hopefully, it doesn't get lost in the shuffle and has a decent release; unlike Equilibrium.

I hadn't heard of this movie until I ran across this thread. Now, after reading up on it, I'm getting pretty excited. Vampires, Werewolves, Matrix-style fighting, Crow-style atmosphere and a heroine who likes to dress in tight-fitting rubber/latex/leather? What's not to like!? 
Hopefully they won't screw this up with a bad script/story. I guess we'll have to wait until Fall of this year to find out.

UNDERWORLD trailer online!
UGO has posted the new trailer up, looks very good. Beckinsale looks hot and the action looks like they might actually do some cool new things effects wise. Here it goes- needs Quicktime though- http://www.ugo.com/ce/promotions/underworld/

HOLY CRAP!!! This movie looks amazing. I posted a thread about it a few weeks ago & most people just panned the movie as a Matrix rip-off
Looks more like a female version of Blade to me. But I have no problem with that. This is easily one of the top 5 movies I'm looking forward to the rest of this year.

Look, this is a darkly stylish (Se7ven), supernatural (Blade), Gun-Fu Fest (Matrix) with a Hot Chick (Dark Angel). Yes it lifts from many interesting sources, but so what?

I'm really looking forward to this...yes, it looks heavily influenced by movies like Crow, Matrix, and Blade, (and even a little Daredevil spliced in) but the fact that the star is a female and the implementation looks excellent makes it a must-see...wow! I hope a higher rez trailer comes out soon.

I actually said Blade/Matrix/Crow meaning a good thing, so calm down everyone. Underworld, at least from the trailer, looks like it is obviously influenced by those films- that's all I was saying. The trailer looks good. Hope the movie follows.
