Paul Shaffer hosted, tonight. Are they going to have guest hosts for the rest of the week? How is Dave doing? Any word on when he should return?

I'm shocked about Cosby hosting! Back in the NBC days he was having as much trouble getting Cosby as he does getting Oprah. I don't think he ever got Cosby until they were both on CBS. That's cool.
I wouldn't mind if Thursday and Friday they let the McConaughey and Grammer host instead of being guests unless Dave comes back soon. They're both nuts and at least one of them would probably be really good.

so, basically, the main stars of old school are all gonna have been guest hosts, probably not bad promotion for the film.

They could always re-dub them in Spanish. As we all know everything's funnier in Spanish.

& by the way, I enjoyed Paul last night. It was a fun show. Too bad Foxworthy was on. When do we get to see Martin Short host?

I thought Paul Schaffer did a good job w/ last night's show. His interview w/ Bob Dole was good. Connie Nielsen was so shy and nervous - but he was really good w/ her. She is one gorgeous Danish export - very graceful and sexy at the same time (I have to give props to my great-grandfather's people for making a woman like that). Foxworthy was Foxworthy.
Cat Power was interesting - I thought for a second that it was a young female version of Tom Waits. She was good.

The Sofia interview is difficult to watch. Her English isn't that great, which can make it very hard to follow Bill Cosby's humor. She seems to be getting confused alot with it.

OK, fine:
Bill Cosby ogling Sofia's breasts and making weird noises, which could be considered speech, is difficult to watch. Her English isn't that great, which can make it very hard to follow Bill Cosby's [drooling]. She seems to be getting confused a lot with it.

Agreed. It was great because not only was it funny, but the bachelor guy obviously respected Bill Cosby and was very honored to be interviewed by him. AND, he got every one of his jokes, which is great.
The opening monologue was hilarious, too. Bill did some of his classic stand-up stuff; it had me rolling!
Who was that Clark Terry guy? The cue card said something about it being Bill's voice teacher..?
And what was the deal with all the guest band members and the Cosby kid dolls? Did Bill bring them in? I know he is a huge fan of the arts, especially the musical performing arts.
