"Wings" reruns!

They are finally returning to cable! I just saw a commerical on Nick-at-Nite for "Wings". On March 31st, they are having a "Wings" marathon, so I'm assuming they are adding it to their line-up.

I'm pleased, since I really enjoyed the series. I would catch the reruns constantly when USA ran their "canceled sitcom" block. Some of them were rather odd, like "The Single Guy" and "Veronica's Secret", but Wings was always enjoyable.

I guess Nick-at-Nite is becoming more modern, with the addition to shows like "Coach" and everything. What next - Murphy Brown?

Wings is great. I just loved that show so much. Lowell was the man!

How many times did Joe have a jeep driven thru his office? Was it like 3 times in 2 episodes?

Nice - I remember watching these re-runs every morning when I was in college a few years back. They were part of USA's morning sit-com lineup.

One of the best shows ever. Tony Shalhoub and Thomas Hayden Church were fantastic on that show.

Wings was such an underrated show. Great supporting characters with Roy, Lowell, and Antonio. They made the show.

Until I started watching Buffy, when people would ask me my favorite TV show I would say Miami Vice. Secretly, it was Wings. I remember when it was still on NBC and the reruns were on USA there were times when I'd watch it 5 times a day! Up until I heard that Wings was gonna be on N@N I still had the last Wings broacast on USA on my TiVo. Still have the last Ned&Stacy Boy I miss the USA morning sitcoms.

Yeah! Thanks for the news!

Very underrated show with an amazing supporting cast.

Lowell: Well, back to the ol' salt lick.
Helen: "Mine."
Lowell: What?
Helen: "Salt mine."
Lowell: Salt your what?
Helen: Never mind, Lowell.
Lowell: Okay. Well, back to the ol' salt lick.

Lowell: Yeah, I remember when my parents took me downtown to see Ordinary People.
Roy: That was a sad movie.
Lowell: What movie?

I think N@N needs to expand to some more channels. Like TV Land, but more of them. Like 2 per decade. As much as I love Wings, Coach, and Cheers, when are they ever gonna show the older stuff anymore?

I'd rather have an on-demand service, like what many other networks are offering.

Anyhoo, the marathon is 4 days long...more episodes tonight starting at 10...

This is great. Whenever I stayed home from work due to illness (or the like), I'd watch it on USA. Man, Antonio and Lowell are great. And Roy had some great lines (like when one of the cast took one of Roy's many issues of Playboy without him knowing, he enters his office and immediately comes out asking who took it - it's a whole lot funnier than my description).

Wings was great on the USA block, I would wake up early just to catch the episodes.

Another sitcom they REALLY need to show reruns of is Working (Fred Savage and Bania from Seinfeld). Show was frickin hilarious

I was watching it last night and I was bothered by the bad video quality. I didn't remember it being that badly degraded on USA a few years back.

My favorite line was when Antonio was singing all the folk songs with incorrect words.

"My goat knows the bowling score...Hallelujah..."
