WATERWORLD (Special TV Version)

WATERWORLD (Special TV Version)
This saturday on scifi; also... any recent news on a DVD release with the extra footage?

This exclusive television version — nearly 35 minutes longer than the theatrical film — includes both re-edited and previously unreleased footage that add new dimensions to the characters and story.

Airs Saturday, March 22, at 5PM ET/PT* on Scifi Channel

Waterworld was not that bad and its always a hoot to see extra stuff added to movies on tv, Needful Things and far and Away had tons of extra footage added when they aired on tv.

If I'd known that, I might have actually watched. I hate the TV versions because they're edited and they have those pesky commercials.

Yeah, I use my DVR to fast forward through commercials now. It's still better to just rent or buy a DVD and see the untouched version.
