A question about magic box: can I use a PS2 light gun on my X-Box with it?

I want to buy a new light gun and PS2 has a few different ones. I was looking at the Scorpion 3 but I would also want to use it on my X-Box with the adapter if I can. Does anyone here use this config.? How does it work? I just don't want to have to buy 2 light guns if I don't have to. thank you for any help you can give.

Is the magic box the adapter that lets you use PS2 controllers on the X-Box? If so, I just recently read something in Gamepro where someone asked if they could use a PS2 Lightgun on the X-Box with an adapter. Gamepro said that this was not possible at the time. I think this was in March's Gamepro in the questions section.
