Just a few minutes ago, for the West Coast, but primetime hasn't started yet. Odds are, if you are in EST, you got to see your shows.

i am confused. if the east coast got the new episodes aired and the west coast was/is/is going to be preempted what happens? does the east coast skip a week while the west coast catches up? does the west coast get the shaft?

CBS just cut back to Survivor for those of us in Pacific time.

Thank goodness; I really don't need to see the same five minutes of news over and over and over.

ETA: Looks like ABC is going back to regular programming too. I just want WB to switch over for my Angel fix.

Angel was uninterrupted on the west coast. Yippie--I have no interest in seeing the same footage over and over when I can read a news clip on Yahoo in 2 minutes and get the same information. I can see why they interrupted shows in the days before there were news channels, but it seems like now they could run a banner on the bottom of the screen telling what channel to switch to for coverage (Fox says switch to Fox News channel, etc.)

The WB did not cut off on the DC affiliate.

Great news. I haven't checked my tape yet, so I assume everything's okey dokey.

In LA, Fox started American Idol at I think 8:15 instead of 8 pm... which really would've ticked me off if I didn't get home at 9, just in time for my tape to cut off and for them to (finally) announce who got cut. That whole hour is really nothing except for the end anyway...

so did Survivor get cut too? Did I miss the first have of the ep? It's tivo'd, so I haven't checked it yet.

Woohoo ... no one preempts the Simpsons. Fox just dropped coverage so I could get my daily fix. Yay me!

I wonder if all 4 episodes will make it through.
