To those of you who have the Heat soundtrack...

Remember when pacino and de niro have just had coffee and the crew dumps the surveillance? the movie then cuts to the crew installing the CPU's and everything....right at the scene change there is this special sound which can also be heard in the trailer at the end. (some trailers the beginning).

Is the music from this scene on the soundtrack?

What do you mean "Eh?"? If anyone has the soundtrack they'll know what I am talking about it.

 He's just replying a thread with his user name on the thread title.

And on to the subject, while I'm not aware of the special sound you're talking about, I think it's a good soundtrack. Very atmospheric and appropriate for the movie.

All right...Chapter 28: Where these people are

Pacino asks: "Does anyone have any idea where the **** these people are".

Next scene...Right after the scene change that special sound comes...
help?

I'll check, but not today. Maybe somebody will give you the answer sooner.

All right, I just checked my copy of the movie, and I can't hear any special sound. Right after Pacino finishes his sentence there's about one second of silence, and then there's a soft thud as the ambient-like music starts playing on the soundtrack. The thud is definitely part of the score. I won't go through the soundtrack album because I don't remember if that piece of music is on it, but if it is, then I'm sure it sounds just the way it does in the film.

The music in the trailer is awesome. i would definitely buy it, if it had that pieces of music.

Tyler-

Since that litthe thud sound is in the beginning of the track would you mind checking the score? Please? Please?

I would be HAPPY :) !

I don't know if there's a separate release of Elliot Goldenthal's score, but the soundtrack album (containing tracks by other artists as well) doesn't have the track that plays during the aforementioned scene. Sorry.

I'm not sure if its on the soundtrack, but the song in the trailer is "God Moving Over the Face of the Waters" by Moby.
