I just bought the Panasonic DRM-e30 DVD recorder and was just wondering if connecting my TiVo to the recorder using S-Video will result in a better picture when burning off my TiVo shows. I'm currently using the composite, because I think I remember reading a post on AVS forum saying that connecting a device through composite on the e30 instead of S-video will make the picture look better because of the built in filter. Wondering if this is true. I'd just like to record the best quality from my TiVo, and if S-Video is the best choice in connections then I guess I'm going to have to invest in a S-video splitter (one going to TV and one going to recorder).
