Philips 30 in Widescreen HDTV Ready at Sam's Club

Hello to all,

WOW, I just got back from the Sam's in Hobart, IN. and they just got this set in. I think the model # is 30PW8520. On the Philips web site it is $1999.99 sug. retail and at Sam's it is $888.99. Quite a jump in price. I think they are both the same sets but not for sure. It is not up on the Sam's web site yet.

If anyone has more info please share it. I am very interrested in this set.

I'm not sure of the model number right now, but I bought a Philips 30" widescreen set over a year ago and it is great. I get HDTV through Cox Cable, and the picture is amazingly good. The Philips sets also produce an excellent picture with the regular cable as well, something I hear that many other HD sets don't do as well.
