Okay I'll have to run out to BB then. The Circuit City near me has really gone downhill. They constantly run out of stuff and alot of stuff they don't get on the release date.

I've had Substance since Wednesday. Haven't opened it though, and thinking of taking it back and swapping for Tenchu 3, which I forgot was coming out then..

It might be worth doing that. Substance sold poorly on the XBOX and was very quickly reduced to $20 at several stores. I have a STRONG feeling that it will sell miserably on the PS2, with MGS2 so widely available for $20, and very little additional material to justify that $50 price tag. I predict a real bomb here.
That said, Tenchu might be a fun alternative. Also Splinter Cell will come out in a month as well.

Yeah, I laugh at that too. You can easily find enough to double the time it took you to beat Sons of Liberty in Substance.

OK I haven't played Substance yet. I'm going by the reviews I've read. It seems you have hundreds of VR missions. If that's your thing, then great. Also some alternate missions, but it doesn't even deliver on the underwhelming promise to play the entire game as Snake. It's not like there's a whole new game in there. If it were $29.99 or something, it would be fine; but to charge full price for what seems to be an expansion pack doesn't fly with me. I could be wrong and it could be a huge hit, but I doubt it. I'll stand by my claim that this game will bomb and be a huge dissapointment to Konami.

I definately will wait for this to drop in price before I buy it. I already have the first one that came out, so no reason to spend big cash on this small few extras.

Probably a good idea. I wouldn't call the extras "small", but if you have the first version of the game I guess there's no rush to go out and grab it.
