Whats up wit this new links{Sneaky} imedded in posts

Heres an example the word marketing.
Is this dvdtalk or the posters link?
EXAMPLE POST BELOW

I don't buy many boxsets (since I have a hard enough time viewing just the ones I have now) so it doesn't affect me as much as it would someone who collects a lot of them. I would imagine it just comes down to what the marketing department thinks they can get the fans to hand over.

Just curious

My friend you've got some sort of spyware on your system!

Download and run Ad Aware to get the spyware off your system:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

Probably something which was installed if you got Kazza or other app w/ embedded spyware.

I'm not getting the effects you're describing. Except for the fact that I've never heard of anything like what you're talking about, it sounds like there's something wrong with your pc (spyware, virus, etc.).

Is the problem you're having limited to DVDTalk?

Any way to post a screen shot for us? Maybe run Ad-Aware, too.

I've only got Windows ME and Internet Explorer 5, but weren't the last version of the OS (XP) and the browser designed to put these extra content-related links on your screen.... [] for your own pleasure?

I think you may be able to turn it all off if you look around in your settings of the software that you choose to leave on your PC.

This sounds kind of like that thing NBC gave up on where they would hotlink particular words on pages that you pulled up. Then you would just click the word and they'd take it from there.

It was heavily promoted on TV and it died a quick and silent death.

SpyBot catches stuff that even slips by AdAware. Makes me wonder how much is even slipping by SpyBot.
