Hot Shots Golf 3 is finally Greatest Hits...I think

I just got back from my local EB, and I picked up Hot Shots 3 for 20 bucks. IGN had said that it was supposed to be a greatest hits months ago, but only now have I found the price at 19.99. It's not in the greatest hits packaging yet, but, I prefer to have the original packaging anyways.

Someone on the IGN boards said that Gamestop has it for $20 too.

Absolute no-brainer purchase for $20. Don't think, just buy it. I don't even like golf, but HGS3 is great.

HSG3 is an excellent purchase for $20. Hell, I paid $50 for it and don't regret it one bit.

Hot Shots Golf 3 is one of the most underrated games ever. I'd like to buy it but it's still $40 at Best Buy and Circuit City .

How does it compare to Tiger Woods? I've played the Woods game and Outlaw golf, but never Hot Shots. I loved Tiger Woods, and Outlaw was fun as well, but I don't know how long it would keep me interested. It was fun for multiplayer action.

Anyone know where I can find complete list of PS2 greatest hits? Tried to do a search but couldn't find anything.

Also is there any news of upcoming GH titles and when it'll come out??

Thanks

I'm just guessing that we'll see Medal of Honor: Frontline as a Greatest Hits title here shortly. It came out last June, so it is just now reaching Sony's "must be out for nine months" policy, and has surely sold over 400,000 copies. . .

the one I bought was the regular box, I think it was the last one they had. I didn't see any of the red boxes for it.

By the way, the game is great. There are SO many things to unlock, I'm having a blast with it so far.

I don't believe they announce upcoming GH titles because it would kill demand for the game in the meantime.

Hot Shots Golf 3 is more arcade than simulation. The shots rely on the patented "three-click" process.

Hmmm. My Gamestop and EB still have it for $39.
Couldn't wait and got a used copy of Swing Away Golf (PS2). It's actually like HSG3 and fun too.

Best buy has it for $19.99. $14.99 if you have a netflix coupon, making a great buy better.
