Capcom Cancels Capcom Fighting All-Stars

Capcom cans All-Stars (PS2, ARCADE)
The 3D fighting game featuring a number of high-profile Capcom characters has been canceled. Link.
Thank goodness. I thought the game looked horrible.

Good call.. how many times can they make the same game? Street Fighter, Mega Man, Resident Evil.. Capcom makes some good games, but they tend to beat them into the ground to the point where they become so stale that the original even lose thier charm.

I must be on the other end of the spectrum here. I thought it was a great Idea and I was really excited about it.

But I guess the "button mashing" fighting skills of Marvel Vs Capcom isn't present so no one wants to play it Considering the advances in the 3D fighting game engines I really started getting into it after rival schools prior to that I though the street fighter 3d fighters were awful. Well I would have liked to play this.

No Jack your not alone, I too was looking forward to this. Especially since the engine was used in Rival Schools, and yeah previous SF games in 3D sucked. Too bad this isnt coming out, but who knows; maybe we'll see it someday later, or Capcom will make a different game.

I was also looking forward to this game. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to play more Guilty Gear X2...
