Looks really good.

And Multiplayer, excellent.

I really hope they streamline the controls a bit.

I'm still waiting for the first one to hit $20.

Those screens look pretty cool though. Looks like they touched up the graphics some this go around.

oh man you have to get it. you can pick it up for 25 bucks at best buy. thats close enough to twenty bucks

Actually to tell you the truth the first one looked world's better but I think that is because it is just the initial screen shots. I'm sure it will be cleaned up for the final product.

Maybe it's been too long since I played the first one, but it looks the same (minus the addition of 2-player mode). The original is classic and very underated. Of course more of a very good thing isn't bad.

Loved the first Pikmin. The screens, though, look pretty unremarkable. Oh well, the appeal of the first one certainly wasn't the graphics. Hopefully the muliplayer is cooperative.

I believe Pikmin is the N64's Blast Corps. Very addicting stragtegy type game, and very underrated.

I want a new Blast Corps. X-Box or GC.

I thought the graphics in the first one were pretty amazing. the water effects and the background graphics of the plants stacked with the lovely animation of a hundred pikmin attacking a spotted bulborb while captain olimar was directing was truely a sight to behold.

from the original

c'mon- 2-player is going to rock!
imagine head to head pickmin battles- using the exploding rocks to take out your friend's pikmins. oh and chucking their pickmin into water. I can't wait for this!

Oh yeah! I can't wait for this one. I still love to play the first one and try to up my score in the challenge mode. It has tons of replayability. I think the multiplayer might be cooperative as well if not exclusively. Nothing to base it on it just seems to be what the screenshots and gameplay lend itself to.

The screenshots look like Pikmin 1 with some other guy following you around. I think I'll pass...

Ok - there was that one time, but when have I ever said anything bad about Pikmin? I said it was a cool game. :/

Amazing that you can predict the entire gameplay of it and make a purchasing decision based on a handful of screenshots.

I didn't say anything about the gameplay. I just said "the screenshots look" -- look.

And thanks!
