CONTAINS SPOILERS:

Check out this link

Spoiler:
The Borg make their first appearance on Enterprise.

Berman and Braga have no original ideas left, let's use something we've already used to death!!

These guys have killed the entire franchise! Year after year of bad decisions have destroyed all I loved about Trek. I'm done with these guys.

Unless of course they debut the all t'pol decontamination chamber episode!

Sounds like they're trying to make a connection with the events in "First Contact", but it's a very, very bad idea.

Who cares at this point? I watched last night's (2/19) episode after not watching for about 1.5 months, and I don't feel that I've missed anything.

With all the "futuristic" technology they've seen on Enterprise (and I'm talking substantive tech issues, not real-world special effects advancements), how can they possibly explain the relatively low-tech TOS Enterprise?

Spoiler:
And introducing the Borg in Enterprise is weak, lazy and dumb.

Final...straw? Mine was a long time ago. Anyone wanna borrow it?

Who knows? Maybe the final shot of the series "finale" will be of a CGI'd TOS Captain Kirk waking up and saying "Whoa! Did that nightmare suck!"

Oh, this is just the final straw for remaining Enterprise fans. Those who left a long time ago have their own.

Enterprise's ratings have been dropping dramatically, it's generating no excitement whatsoever, the latest movie was a critical and financial flop.

Do you think Paramount execs will finally wise up and show Berman and Braga the way off the lot?

Are you kidding?

It's still got the "Star Trek" pedigree, so "Enterprise" will no doubt complete it's 7 year mission.

Whilst Moya gets disassembled before our eyes . . .

*sniff*

I think "Regeneration" is going to be this season's last episode, sometime in May during sweeps. ENTERPRISE has been renewed for a third season.

Yeah. This is pretty stupid.

I've only caught this show a few times in the last 6 months anyhow. I thought this week was very good, but I just can't see how they can bring the borg in without it being a joke.

In somebody else's hands, this concept and crew could be a great series. There are plenty of classic trek references, species and locales they could use instead of the borg.

No. SOMEbody has to watch and try to keep this board honest.

But it’s getting pretty damn_hard with all the folks shouting B&B’s praises from on high.

Seems like I’m the only one giving an honest appraisal of the drek that Paramount is spewing out.

The series is developing a new fan base, now that all of us who know and love Trek are giving up. People who think that token references "homages" to TOS are the best thing since wanking off. (Of course, none of those folks post on this board.)

Bando seems to be the only one with me on this Holy Crusade. And I suspect that, once the supply of BandoTM brand Potato Chips runs out, he’ll be history, too.

Aaron, you seem to forget what the “P” in UPN stands for.

Well, it's no TNG or Voyager, but I still find Enterprise entertaining. Last night's episode was pretty good. I know the time travel thing has been done a million times, but I like how they've dragged it out and not really shown anything about who is behind it.

The main reason I wanted absolutely nothing to do with this show.

I'm glad that TNG and DS9 are on DVD, so I can remember how great this franchise can be.

It is getting so sad that I watch Voyager and I actually think its good I did stick with this show but I never thought it was really good.

And I almost have a heart attack when I watch TNG

Spoiler:
Wasn't it hinted that the aliens in episode 4 of this second season (Dead Stop) were the early Borg??

Paramount. You know, the guys that own Trek. It's their network, it's their show. Ratings mean nothing at this point. Maybe now that the movie franchise has died, they may realize that it’s doing them no good to keep flogging this horse.

HOWEVER, they still have to sell the DVDs, guys. How long do you think it will take to get all 7 of DS9 and VOY in the box? Another 4 years? Yeesch!

Does anybody else feel this way about Trek like I do?

The last several seasons of TNG, all of Voyager, and so far Enterprise (somehow DS9 escaped this curse) have all had a peculiar pattern. The episodes are either really, really good, or really, really bad. I mean even Voyager had some damn fine eps like Timeless and Scorpion and Living Witness. But then they had just about every other episode. At least with the Original Series, there were a few spectacular eps (Amok Time, City on the Edge...), a few massive stinkers (Spock's Brain), but the rest were "acceptably average" if that makes any sense.

Does anyone else feel the same?
