Sex and the City Intro Question (sign on bus)

During the opening of Sex and the City, the sign on the bus says something like "Carrie Bradshaw knows good sex*" *and isn't afraid to ask.

What does that mean? Is there a joke that I am not getting or something?

It's an ad for the column Carrie writes every week.

For the full details on this subject, you should watch Episode 6 from Season 1 titled "Secret Sex". This is where the poster originates in the storyline.

It's a reference to the book "Everything you always wanted to know about sex* (*but were afraid to ask)". There is also a Woody Allen movie by the same name that is supposedily "based" on the book.
