Reviews Wanted: "The Killers" Criterion

The 1946 version is one of my favorite films of all time. (I'm pretty indifferent towards the 1960' version). Any reviews on the transfers and extras aould be appreciated.

a/v quality of both films is excellant.
the '46 version has never looked better.
in fact, its one of the best looking b&w 40's vintage films out there. a little grain keeps it from looking knock down impressive, but it hasd a great grey scale and nice inky blacks.
sound is crisp and clear- i din't hear any distortion.
haven't gone thru the extras yet (except for a few of the Siodmak trailers- Cobra Woman rules!), but if you really love this movie, like i do, its a solid purchase.

i'd much rather pay $30 (online) for something like this, than $12 for Artisans Pursued, which which is a very cheap looking and slipshod presentation of an equally classic film.
