CN drops the ball on Futurama by editing "Religious" references!
according to Dan Rudolph in htf
"Last night, Adut Swim was showing the Futurama episode "The Deep South." Professor Farnsworth's classic line "Sweet Zombie Jesus" has the Jesus muted out. Thsi seriously pisses me off. This goes against the whole concept of adult swim. "
Well at least it comes on dvd soon.

And I was all set to watch the carnage. (although, to be fair, the first two episodes are pretty timid)

Yeah, all the ADV shows airing next week will be unedited. http://www.animeondvd.com/press/conv...s/2003/ADV.php
Next month, Toonami will start airing Kenshin, I just watched the first five episodes, but heard it gets real violent in later episodes, so I wonder if they will air those unedited as well.

I could have sworn I heard him say "Sweet Zombie Jesus" clear as day.
I've only seen that episode once before, so it's not like I'm filling it in from memory or anything.
I want to see them run Evangelion: Death and Rebirth" unedited. Like that would ever happen.

They'll probably just air the first two episodes of EVA, toothpicks aside, there isn't too much to really edit in there.

I'm glad someone else noticed this, i was starting to think i was nuts.
CN did edit out "jesus" because i found it odd when i saw the lips move but no sound was made.
I'm a bit ticked off, but since DVD's are on the way.. and CN actually bothers to show Futurama...i'll let this slide.
