Rabbit-Proof Fence (Region 4)
Just got this disc today and checked out the movie. Great flick and the DVD looks and sounds great. Can't wait to check out the extras. I think this would make an interesting double feature with Atanarjuat the Fast Runner. Anybody else grab this disc?

I was going to wait for the region 1 release myself, but CD WOW had it for $16.95US shipped! So I had to get it 
. It wound up costing me less than seeing it at the local "arthouse" theater.

$15.95 from CD WOW with the $1 off Mastercard linky thingy...
It's playing in town, but the theater is subpar and I'd just as well get it on this high quality dvd. Anyone know the specs for the R1 disc? I bet it won't have all the features as the R4 one..,

The Region 4 is a 2 disc set -which is a bit much since the film fits easily on to a single sided disc (which is how it is). Extras are on disc 2.
No idea about the Region 1 details.

Amazon has the R1 listed for a 4/15 release with no extras.

Actually, CDUniverse has the R1 listed (via rottentomatoes) and it lists the Documentary and the commentary as extras. That'd be enough for me. It sounds like the main reason the AUS version is 2 discs is because they include a P&S version
