Boomtown also did a similar episode about it.

Yeah, weird that it was essentially the same as that Boomtown episode.

All in all, I enjoy the show, but it's more Law & Order than Dragnet.

I was also going to post about the "Boomtoon" parallel.

You're right, das. This is "Law and Order" without the lawyers. Hell, just put the Assistant D.A. in the interrogation room in the last half of the episode and you're done!

This was my first time watching the show. I was surprised to see that Frank was played by the kid who co-starred with Ed O'Neill in Dutch back in the day.

well it is done by the same guy, Dick Wolf
and the narator is the same. I heard the guy who says "in the criminal justice system...." on L&O at some point last night on Dragnet

I just want to say "SWEET" about using the photograph to get the finger prints off of those two guys. It was genius. Way to go writers!

I figured that was what he was doing with the pics. That's been done on CSI once or twice.

I think Profiler did something pretty similar as well. They set it in Boston, and had the yuppies send it out over the 'net via PPV.....

It was alright, tho there were times where O'Neil's character (Friday?) seemed a little too "hip." Can't remember the exact times, but he made references to things that I wouldn't expect that type of character to know.

I really liked the way that the voiceovers were used in this episode... they added more than they did the last episode.

Show of hands:

Did anyone else chuckle when O'Neill made that smarmy reference to women's shoes....?
