...well, in my experience just about any Fox Lorber disc would be 'worth upgrading from'...

...fwiw here is a review of the recent UK/R2/PAL release (which includes a reference to the new Anchor Bay edition)...

. . . . . .

It has a nice anamorphic transfer (occassionally a little grainy but I believe this is intentional), DTS & DD.5.1, though I'm not at home right now so I don't know if the disc also includes the original audio.

The second disc has TV & film trailers, stills, the screnplay via CDrom, and a 24 minute interview, in which Candy Clark looks as gorgeous as ever, & Nic Roeg, Anthony Richards and the film's producer, editor and others behind the scenes folks talk about making the film. No participation in the documentary from Bowie, Rip Torn or Buck Henry, so the Criterion commentary mentioned in Hendrick's Brit review would have been nice or a new track with Roeg, Clark and the film's technicians would have been nice.

cheers, Tony Block

I just got mine. The audio tracks are actually DD-EX and DTS-ES.

If Tony doesn't beat me to it, I'll put a review up of it in a few days.
