...ahm... "the" R2 version, eh...?!?...
...according to the black star site the R2/UK(PAL) DVD features both DD 5.1 and 'DTS Surround' soundtracks - surely this means the DTS is 'half bit' and not 'full bit'...?...
...the two-DVD R2/French(PAL) release features French and English DD 5.1 and DTS 5.1 - again: the latter definitely 'half-bit'...
...whereas the R2/'Pan-European'(PAL) release carries subtitles in 16 (sixteen!!!) languages, including Polish, Slovenian and Hebrew - but DD sound only...
...perhaps you are looking for a full-bit-DTS-endowed R2/Japanese(NTSC) DVD then...?... except that disc doesn't appear to have any DTS soundtrack at all...
...it's a puzzlement...

...how - assuming the information on the blackstar site is correct - could that UK disc - which, I assume, is a single DVD-9 - have a 'full bit' DTS soundtrack in addition to a full-fledged DD 5.1 track... we're talking about a longish (131 minutes) movie, after all)...?... it doesn't compute, somehow... not enough 'real estate' on that one disc for both soundtracks, I would think... not to mention a third soundtrack: the Director's commentary... plus some 60 minutes of extras... all on one DVD...?... but, hey! what do I know?...

It just goes to show how underused the real estate can be on lots of releases. I own this disc and have verified the bitrates myself using VOBrator. Also remember the Warner DTS titles Lethal Weapon 1,2 & 3, Interview With The Vampire and Twister all had full bitrate DTS, DD 5.1 plus extras.
Plus the DD tracks being so compressed don't take up much room anyway, 448kbps for the DD 5.1 and 192bkps for the commentary.
It's also amusing that the picture quality on this release is actually better than the r1 release!
