EB had it on sale for $10 a while ago and I picked it up and returned it the next day. It's not that it was awful or unplayable, but I have too many great sports titles that I haven't scratched the surface of their franchise/legacy modes to sacrifice for an average/below average game.

Did you play it ?
If you did then how did you return it at EB ?

I bought it at EB, brought it home, played it for a good while and brought it back for credit on another game using their one-time 14 day return guarantee. They let you exchange anything you purchase there (w/receipt) within 14 days for any reason, as long as the game is still in like new condition. I've heard other people on the board mention that they won't shop at EB particularly for the reason that the games they sell you aren't always sealed and thus not 'new.' So to each his own I guess, but I won't buy games anywhere else simply for the piece of mind that if it stinks I can exchange it (unless it's a game I'm pretty certain to enjoy and considerably cheaper). Sorry for the tangent, but thought that might warrant an explanation.

i bought it, not that great, but the home run mode is sort of fun once you get used to the batting interface

I picked it up too, but after reading a few reviews, and looking at the pile of unopened probably better games (like Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Panzer Dragoon Orta, etc), I'll probably return it before I open it.

Trevor,

While I was in the mall during lunch today I had the Beach Spikers and Home Run King games with me that I was going to return to BB.

Just for the hell of it I tried returning them at a toy store in the mall and got a credit of $65.00. ($39.99 for Beach Spikers and $19.99 for Home Run King).
