So will the discounts be in the form of coupons handed out by Mr. Xbox himself? Is this available only at target or everywhere?

When do you think Gamecube will be giving us 3 game bundles?

Translation: Hey Xbox Fans! Starting February 25 the Xbox bundle will include three games (Sega GT 2002, Jetset Radio, Rallisport Challenge), all for only $199.00!

In other words, the deal still sucks. Give me Halo in the bundle and I'll buy the Xbox

I still see copies of HALO with the hint book at Target for $24.98. This was (2) days ago. Buy the package, sell Rallisport and SegaGT 2002/JSRF on e-bay....break even.

Unfortunately, my Targets did not have that version of Halo in stock; I checked the day I heard they were on clearance... They had tons of Max Paynes, though. I am patient, though. I am determined not to buy an Xbox until there is a significant price drop or a decent bundle.

don't get too excited about this. The guy who started this thread is the same one who has made other posts that were not real like the target coupons. There is a reason he didn't list a source, there is no source.

edit: NM, just saw who posted this "deal". I'll believe it when I see it.

Huh? JSRF, Sega GT 2002, and Rallisport.
um... JSRF and Rallisport have won much acclaim and are great games. Sega GT 2002 is also a very fun game, another great addition to the XBox. People will always find a reason to complain.

I'm happy though because this may mean that I can find Rallisport for less than 29.99.

I just wish they'd offer a "Core System" like when Sega did the Core System Genesis.

I want to pick up the console and then pick my own game.

The problem is this: it doesn't really add to the bundle already out there. I'm not a fan of racing games, so adding Rallisport to the bundle does not interest me (nor did the did the original bundle interest me in any way). A better strategy would be to offer a different bundle that would appeal to a different group of potential buyers.

Anyway, I'm probably wasting my breath; the source is hardly credible. I'll believe it when I see it...

it would make much more sense diacritic, but then again I did just sell my gt/jsrf games when I bought the bundle.

Put something violent in the bundle and it'll be a lot more appealing...

If it's going to be a temporary bundle offered by just one store, ok I can believe it. But if it's an official bundle like the current one that includes SegaGT2002 and JSRF...

Personally I find this bundle hard to believe - two out of three bundled games are racing games? You'd think if it was a legit deal they would bundle in a sports game or rpg or something else.

Well, he *almost* got the deal right It was buy a GC plus 2 games to get the $50 GC, not the one game like he was stating.
