PLEASE HELP & HURRY: Is this system any good?

We have NO system for our DVD player. This one is in my Gold Box at Amazon right now, and I would love to get any and all input, good or bad. Thanks for taking the time, especially since I've only got 58 minutes and counting.

Probably too late to respond but at that price it's a decent entry level setup. You'll be a bit light on the low frequencies (subwoofer). I'd say go for it and start enjoying your dvds in 5.1 glory.

I set this system up for my g/f's dad. It sounds pretty good. (It is relative to the $$ obviously) Excellent buy for the money.
