The Eye Korean version vs. Tartan

Does anyone have any reviews of The Eye disc from Korea with the DTS ES track and documentaries? Is the Tartan disc going to be the same basically without the DTS ES track? I have the cheap Hong Kong version and like the DTS track on that, but it could have used a better image transfer.

Best transfer is on the Korean disc but english subs are out of synch from the 36 min. point onwards. Apparently, the Tartan UK transfer is so-so, only has DD2.0 track, but has subtitled extras.

Korean, Region 0

Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1
NTSC Format
Cantonese/Thai/Mandarin - Dolby Digital 5.1 EX
Cantonese/Thai/Mandarin - DTS 6.1 ES
English, Korean or Chinese (Traditional) subtitles
Theatrical trailer
Interviews - 16:03mins, permanent English subtitles with optional Korean subtitles.
Biography/Filmography for directors and lead actors - biography in Korean, filmography in English.

NOTE: The English subtitles (although it is okay with the Korean subtitles) on this release go completely out of sync at the 36:40 point in the film, hence it's reason for being the loser.

United Kingdom, Region 0

Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1
PAL Format
Cantonese/Thai/Mandarin - Dolby Digital 2.0
English subtitles
Star and director filmographies
Theatrical trailer
Making of documentary
Pang Brothers documentary
Justin Bowyer film notes
Promotional art gallery
Asia Extreme trailer reel

Hong Kong, Region 0

Non-Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1
NTSC Format
Cantonese/Thai/Mandarin - DTS
Cantonese/Thai/Mandarin - Dolby Digital 2.0
Mandarin - Dolby Digital 2.0
English or Chinese (Traditional) subtitles
Theatrical trailers for Avalon, Blow and Nowhere to Hide

Thanks, looks like I'm not going to spend any more money for this movie even though I would like some of those pluses from the other discs, but not the minuses.

By the way, there is another version. A limited edition of the Hong Kong version, which I own (purchased from yesAsia). It comes with a cool 3D cover and it includes "making of featurette" as well as DD5.1 track

What is the running time of the limited edition from yesasia.com and is it widescreen?
The website was pretty vague.

Thanks

Yep, the limited edition is not anamorphic as the standard release and the running time is same: 98 minutes but the packaging is cool and there are two featurettes and if you don't have DTS equipment but a DD5.1 one, it is a good choice. By the way, don't forge to buy "THREE 3 DVD Set", it is creepy, too.
