Which chinese feast and where?
I've just become aware of Tsui Hark's "The Chinese Feast" and I want to get it.
Per Asian DVD Guide, it seems I don't want the Guang Dong Tung Ah version because of its microscopic subtitles and a missing four-minute fight scene.
However, the Malaysian-based Mercury version is recommended because of the better subtitles and an uncut version.
The problem is this: the only versions I've found are the Tai Seng DVD and the Widesight version and I don't know what if either of these contains the better subs and the complete cut.
Anybody know?
Thanks.
J

I picked up the Widesight disc recently. It has legible subs but is also cut. The Mercury disc is OOP
I guess I'll wait until an uncut version becomes available.
Rats!!
