Where to buy Twin Peaks Season 1 Korean r3?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to get the Korean version of this box set. I want this one in particular because of the inclusion of the pilot and the fact that it is NTSC. Thanks for any help.

You can get it here but none of the places I normally deal with are carrying it (DVD Asian, Yes Asia, etc).

I definitely want this set though!

Wow! What a difference in picture quality on the pilot. Laura actually looks like a corpse on the Korean disc.

What About the UK Version?

Why not just pick up the Region 2 Pilot over at Amazon.co.uk?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000071IYQ/

At 40 pounds it seems cheaper and they both appear to come from the same master for the Pilot...

Well this is one of those rare cases where PAL speedup does bother me since I've seen these episodes a million times. The R0 NTSC Pilot is from a PAL master and it drives me crazy. The reason I'd like to get the Korean version is because it's NTSC and includes the pilot.

By the way, 40 pounds= $64.24 in US Dollars. 71 cents doesn't seem like much of a savings!

Jeff- I'm not convinced that the problem with the Region 0 NTSC pilot is PAL speedup. I have it, as well as the Region 2 PAL box and there is a huge difference. None of the tinny, chipmunk-style audio in the PAL set. And I notice no speedup on any of the audio across the Region 2 PAL set. Just sharing my experience.

And hey, those 71 cents start to add up if you buy enough of these darned things!

Really?? I know the HK release is definitely from a PAL transfer due to the running time so I just assumed that the reason Kyle MacLachlan sounds like Rosie Perez was because of PAL speedup. OK, so maybe I'm exaggerating a little.

Glad to hear the PAL release is good. I'm going to Europe next month so maybe I'll pick that up while I'm over there.

It's possible that the problem with that disc is the result of PAL speedup, but that the European disc has been pitch-adjusted to compensate for it.

Back from the dead . . . wrapped in plastic

I was finally going to order the R3 version, but I can't find it anywhere. Is it out of print now? Does anyone want to sell their copy?

Regarding the R2 version, has the entire first season set been pitch-adjusted for PAL speedup? If so, maybe I should just get that one.

I ordered my copy from KoreanDVDs a couple months back along with Fire Walk With Me and Eraserhead for $39. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
