"Downtown" by Petula Clark and Seinfeld's Jerry & George - Music Association
When George and Jerry are in the diner, and they're doing "Downtown," but instead of singing it, they're talking it. Great scene. Now everytime I hear the song on the radio, I think of that scene.
What are some other associations you have with songs and movies/tv shows?

Anyone remember on Newsradio where the people in the office were doing the lyrics to Shaft as a conversation (Q: Who's the cat who...? A: Shaft!)
Mr James walks in and asks what everyone's talking about. "We're talkin' bout Shaft." "I can dig it."

But, keeping with the theme of the thread...
I remember the NewsRadio show when it was revealed that Dave had a secret affinity for America's "Horse With No Name." Why? I don't remember, I just remember that that turn of events make me laugh hysterically.
Of course, since I don't listen to any radio station that would remotely consider playing "Horse With No Name," I never get to have that music association.

Do you ever find yourself surprised by people who claim to have never heard certain songs that you simply assume the whole damn world has heard of?
