Few new Gamecube price drops at Best Buy
Saw Tony Hawk 3 and SSX Tricky for 14.99 and Disney's Magical Mirror for 19.99, new regular price shelf tags dated today. There may be others, and for other systems too, not sure....

P.S. -- Tricky and Hawk 3 are both on the BB web site at that price. Don't see Mirror there, but the B&M had plenty. Rogue Leader is also there for 19.99 (same at B&M, forgot about it earlier).

You can actually get the 19.99 games for 14.99 if your B&M BB still has those "gamer's gift cards" with the "$5 off video games 19.99 and up" coupons on the backing for each card (they're in plastic cd-style cases). Just activate one for $5 or so; they don't expire until 12/31/03.

Is Outlaw Golf (on sale for $20 next week I believe) any good compared to the Xbox? I have both systems and was wondering if it is camparable. I rented and love it on the xbox.

The Gamecube "Big List" thread over at Anandtech confirms that Beach Spikers is indeed 9.99 at Best Buy B&M; my 2 local BB's were both sold out. RATS!

Was at the best buy in Levittown, NY last night. They were sold out of Beach Spikers, but said they will get a new stock in on Jan 23rd. I asked the sales guy to look up the price, he said 9.99. i asked for a raincheck at that price and he said he cant give a rain check for something not advertised in the flyer. He said 9.99 is the price it will sell for when they get more in stock. We'll see.

How is Tiger Woods compared to the Xbox version? Any idea. XBox version is still $50.
I have Tiger Woods for the XBOX and have not seen the Gamecube version. One benefit of the Xbox is that the hard drive of the XBOX makes it real easy to save stats, shots, etc. I would think a memory card would fill up quickly.
