The best Justice League episode I ever saw!

I’ve been disappointed with every DC/WB cartoon since they quit on Batman TAS (third season set the first standard since Fleischers’ Superman) so I’ve been kind of just watching this off and on. Today I caught the one with The Justice Guild of America and I couldn’t believe how good it was!

The animation was a little better than usual, but the writing took the cake! Classic! When it said “To Be Continued” I screamed, “Wotta rip off!”

My favorite line: “Among the four, I doubt that there’s enough goodness in them to help a wounded puppy!”

Anybody else impressed as much as I was?

Yeah, actually it was good episode b/c it parodied all those 1950's comics.

Yes, it was a repeat. It's too bad the animation sucks so hard, because the writers really know their DC history.

The characters were an odd mix from other companies DC acquired. Power Ring was pretty interesting inclusion, because he was a member of the Crime Syndicate of Amerika, the evil 1960's Earth 2 counterpart of the JL. I thought it was cool Power Ring was actually more "GL-ish" in his ring-use than Jon Stewart who essentially just shoots a green beam. You'ld think an architect would have more of an imagination. Ah well...

If you want to learn more, be sure to pick up the recently released TPB called Crisis On Multiple Earths, which is a reprinting of those 60's "multiple-earth" crossovers, and the relatively new Earth 2: JLA, which is another great homage to the old crossovers.

I liked what I saw of that but I thought the Savage Land movie was pretty good.

Can't wait for new eps.
