http://www.hbo.com/docs/programs/iceman/

HBO's America Undercover will feature hitman and killer "The Iceman" on this weeks episode, Sunday 1/5.

Didn't we already see an in depth documentory on this guy a few years back?!?
How much Iceman do we need?

I thought the same thing when i saw the promo for it I could have sworn i saw this interview a couple of years ago. Pretty lame start if so....and even if it is new, what more do we need to hear from the psycho?

To make matters worse, this is actually the THIRD show based on him. HBO did a second one a couple of years ago and talked pretty much about the same stuff as the first one.

It's time to let the Ice Man thaw out a while.

Yeah, weird. I mean, okay, so it was really the first America Undercover bit to get some "controversy" and therefore some media coverage, but if they are going to revisit past stories, there are so many better docs they have done that are worth follow-ups- Life of Crime 3, maybe? There was one about mental patients that was spectacular, and by far my favorite Amerca Undercover which I only saw ONCE, years ago, was on police officers and the trauma some of them suffer from due to all of the indiginities and horror they see day to day.

"Well, obviously to me it was."

Does anyone think he's making some of this stuff up? It seemed to me that he just went with whatever the shrink said. I found the bit about videotaping people being eaten alive by rats and their screaming hard to believe.

I couldn't believe but I actually found myself watching some of this last night.
The whole time I kept thinking: This guy is so full of s**t.

Or even if it's mostly true, who the hell cares now?
This show was so beneath HBO and America Undercover.

No way this idiot is worth a full hour of primetime HBO.

If he killed that many people, why is he still alive?

All I can assume is he is located in a non-death penalty state...

Yeah, it seemed like he was making some of the stuff up just to play with the reporter. I want to know how he came in contact with the mob.

I don't think he was making the stuff up.

IIRC, last time they interviewed him Law Enforcement was able to close some more cases they never even knew he took part in.

The guy is out and out nuts.

Not that I'd say that to his face.

Its not that I don't think he's a killer although i think he may have made up some of the murders he talked about. It make no sense for a hitman that the mob relies on to do a job to leave a guy in a cave screaming while he get eaten by rats. Why take the chance of a hunter or hiker walking by?
The thing that got me though is I think he's playing up the 'Iceman' image. It just seem to me that the shrink guy was leading him alot and he just went along with it. Its like the shrink would ask how he felt about something and he say he felt nothing ,but then the shrink would say something like "Did it make you feel happy?" Then he'd say "Yeah, happy." or "Did this make you mad?" "Yeah, mad." or

Doctor: Why did you kill them?

Iceman :I don't know.

Doctor: Did they disrespect you?

Iceman: Yeah, they disrespected me.

And so on.

According to this website, he was not given the death penalty due to a lack of eye witness testimony. Also, he admitted to many of the murders, but he would not admit to any after the reinstatement of the death penalty.
