This car commercial started airing earlier this year, but I still haven't found what the song was. I don't think they play it anymore, but I was hoping that someone here would know. I'll explain the commercial as best I can, I do not know the brand name of the car :
The song plays throughout the whole commercial.
It starts out with an African American dude at his apartment, going through his LPs for the nights gig.
Then it cuts to him putting his LPs in his car.
Then it cuts to him driving it to the club, getting down to the song as if it was on the radio.
Then it cuts to him DJing the song at the club, really grooving to it.
Then it cuts to an African American girl dancing to it by herself in front of the camera, in slow-mo, with a crowd of people dancing to it in the background.
Then it ends with the car logo.
Even if you haven't seen the commercial, you might know it anyway. It's song structure is similiar to a slow grooved techno/hip-hop song, it's made entirely of guitar riffs and is groovy as hell... not in a nu-metal way either, more like a dance song. The guitars sound like samples, so it might be a remix of a song, but most likely just samples cut together into a dance mix. There are no vocals.
Anyone?
