Well if you happen to "accidently" enjoy it, I'm sure nobody would be mad.

I believe you walked into a store... a store that sells said items. You then exchanged money (or "credit") in order to obtain the items as your very own... and that's how the monetary system works!

It's ok if you want to call it an impulse buy. Nothing to be ashamed of

Okay.. this all started with a little game called Mr. Driller.

The new Mr. Driller game was going to be a GC exclusive, and I *needed* it. At first, I convinced a friend of mine that I would buy the game, and leave it at his place if he got his Cube modded. So we waited, and the game was delayed.

And then I started seeing stuff about Zelda. And somewhere I decided that I would just get a damn Cube, Zelda was going to be awesome. I thought, well if I had both the Xbox AND the Cube, I'd've done my (very small) part in trying to rid the world of Playstation. And that made me very happy. But buying one was still a way off, I'm waiting for the boot disc to come out before I'd get Mr Driller, and Zelda is March.

So last night, the same friend and I decided to rent Metroid after all this time. He hadn't played the demo, and I wanted to give it a real chance. So I played the intro level and was like, "Hey this isn't too bad.." but it had one thing that drew me in that Super Metroid did when it first came out. Atmosphere. It blew me away. So I was thinking, hell, I'd pick this up if I had a Cube.. if I end up not liking it I'd shack it on eBay. But it was *still* a future purchase. So we were letting my roommate play, and we went to kick it in my room. Out of NOWHERE he said, "I've got $100 in Wal-Mart gift cards.. you can pay me back whenever you want." and I was like "You're kidding right?!".. and his reply was "This is revenge for getting me to buy an Xbox..", so we ended up at Wal-Mart and I had a Cube, a Memory Card, and Metroid.

Sadly, after I got home and posted the thread, I had to drink a few beers and go to sleep..

Maybe tonight.. though it's the girlfriend's birthday.. so.. hopefully I can just hit it and start plaing while she's resting.

Hehe.. thanks.

Of course, since there were torando watches last night and my Metroid kept freezing up, I did very little tapping last night.
