I was looking forward to the release of Defender and have read some not so great reviews. I just rented Jedi Starfighter and it doesn't seem too bad, probably get it for $20. or Defender for $30.
Anyone play Defender and Jedi and have some comments?
Or is there another game that would be better?

I looked through the Biggest Dissapointment of the Year thread and Defender was not mentioned at all... I also did a search and not much came up...
Has no one played this game or will admit to it?
It seems like a game the Old schoolers would have jumped on?

I was looking forward to Defender, but I think I'll rent it first after seeing the reviews.
I recently bought Jedi Starfighter for $10 used at BBV. I've only played it once for about 20 minutes, but that was enough to convince me to not return it for a refund. It was fun, but I'm sort of a sucker for Star Wars video games. Sort of plays like Rouge Squadron on the PC I guess.
