Joe Millionaire Starts Jan 6th!!

Just saw the previews on FOX..This looks like another great reality show..

I like the idea of seeing these "gold diggers" getting a taste of thier own medicine!

Can't wait to see thier reactions when they realise this poor bastard is only a mechanic making $19,000..

Will the love survive...We shall see!!

BRAVO FOX!!

What would we do without Fox?

FOX aren't shy about promoting their "sleazy" programs..I like that

Hopefully this will turn out better than "Who Wants To Marry A Millionaire"

"Temptation Island & Boot Camp were good though!!

This show is just going to be full of shallow, materialistic women. I just hate how the main people will become "celebrities" for showcasing their superficial character. How long do you think it will take before the "winner" (or one of the runner-ups) is in Playboy?

Gotta love FOX. This should be interesting. I was a big fan of Temptation Island.

I haven't heard anything lately..The ratings were pretty good the first time around..I hope they do another one.

I guess they can only promote so much sleaze at a time

Atleast FOX is clear across the board "sleazy". I remember they used to show cartoons in the afternoon for the kids. Now COPS is shown at 2 in the afternoon. Makes you wonder what the kids are coming home to watch.

I don't get your point??

These ladies (and I use the term loosely) are willing participants for this kind of stuff!

They SHOULD expect to be ridiculed and humiliated on national television and reap all the benefits that comes with their preverbial 15 minutes of fame

PS Just admit you'll be watching like th rest of us..It's ok your allowed you won't go to hell for doing so..

I’m just waiting for the inevitable scandal (like the one that centered around “Who wants to marry…”). This guy is a construction worker who ONLY makes $19,000 a year? Where is he working, Guatemala? Something will come out; like that he’s a part time student. Or that he quit a more lucrative job for the show (or cut back on his hours in order to make the show more sensational).

I really don't understand the purpose of the show

First of all, we already know the women who entered into the show are materialistic. So obviously the lady who win the game will definitely leave Mr. Joe. Not to mention they did lie to the ladies from the get go. Same rule apply for say if a guy pick up a girl at a bar. If the guy lied to pick up the girl, she obviously needless to make excuse to leave the guy.

All in all, the fox producers are basically setting the ladies up to be the greedy bitchs.

They cancelled TI after last season. It didn't help that they had it in a death timeslot vs CSI and Will & Grace.

I might tune in to the last episode just to see how the woman reacts.

IMO, the woman has a right to leave just on the ground that she was lied to the whole time.

I'm a self-respecting woman! Yes, I am a gold-digger, but how can I love someone who lied to me? I am not just some hoochie, I have a GED and I went to community college for 3 semesters! They have no right!

Do we really need Another Reality show???

This show is further proof that TV and the audience that is watching this crap is devoid of any intelligence.
This is the equivalent of slowing down on the freeway during an accident.

Read a book.

This show is making light of the whole reality tv, plus it'll be good for a laugh. And if you're watching TV, you're not trying to improve your intelligence, it'll just be a nice break from thinking

That's right because the people watching Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond are rocket scientists.

I get bigger laughs out of most of these so-called reality shows than most sit-coms currently on tv.

Yeah, this is the part I don't understand. I have never known a construction worker who wasn't raking in piles of money. Smells fishy.

Honk!

That just made absolutely no sense. How can a mechanic/construction worker ONLY make $19,000??? Did he only work 2 months out of the year?

Plus, if this show defies logic and actually becomes a hit. Where are they going to recruit the next batch of gold-diggers for "Joe Millionair 2" that will fall for the $50,000,000 lie yet again?

Not to mention that regardless of whatever this guy really makes or where he works, this guy will be making much more than $19,000 a year after this is over. TV offers, commercials, modeling---he'd be a millionaire if he plays his cards right.

Of course Rick Rockwell turned out...uh...never mind.

Why yes your honour we absolutely do:

Have you ever stopped to think why these shows are so popular??...

..Because people like me are bored to death with conventional sitcoms...They're all basically set up the same with joke..punchline..laugh track..etc.

The unpredictability of human behaviour when it comes to money, greed or falling in love makes great television IMO

If I'm going to watch sitcoms I'd rather watch classics that are no longer on the air...

Oh come on, thats a poor excuse.

I am bored with TV too, thats why I watch DVDs and Cable. Oh I read too. Much better than dumbing yourself down and becoming a vegetable (somebody regarded as lacking in vitality, alertness, or drive) .
Whats next? Mauling a family member when they are asleep?

Don't give these people more idea to start a new show. Before you know it, "Mauling millionaire!! All-new tonight on Fox."
