Hi, this is my setup at home...I have a desktop with an ethernet card, a alptap with a wirekess ethernet card, a ps2 with an ethernet card, and an xbox with the live starter kit. My question is, how can I hook them all up to one router? I need a router that i can use the microphones on (ps2, xbox) because i used to have a router that would not allow for me to receive any audio through my headset. I have a feeling was because i couldnt disable the firewall on the router, but i could be wrong. My other compatibility issue is that i am running windows XP on both my laptap and my desktop...and i think that setting my pc settings to recognize a DMZ setting might mes some stuff up...please help.
I know that my old Siemens Router had no Problems with the PS2 and voice chat without changing anything.
I'm now using a Wireless Netgear that seems fine also.
The cheap Linksys "Everywhere" Router has known issues with alot of online console gaming.

Cuban, he needs the wireless router though for the laptop.
Gotaloha, you wouldn't want to disable the firewall in the router, that is one of the biggest reasons to have a router. What you want to do is find out which port is required for the audio and open that port. I do believe the cheap router cuban mentioned is one of the ones that didn't work with audio anyway and also wouldn't allow connects on some games like madden.
