Hitman 2? Keep or return?
Alright, video game wise, this is what I'll be opening tomorrow:
Xbox System
Jet Set Radio Future/ Sega GT 2002 (XBox)
Amped (Xbox)
Shenmue II (XBox)
Xbox Live Starter Kit (XBox)
Splinter Cell (XBox)
MechAssault (XBox)
Halo (XBox)
Hitman 2 (XBox)
Xbox S Controller
Devil May Cry (PS2)
Metroid Prime (GC)
Resident Evil Zero (GC)
WaveBird Controller (GC)
Metroid Fusion (GBA)
Super Monkey Ball Jr. (GBA)
My question is about Hitman 2. From what I understand, it's similar to Metal Gear/Splinter Cell, but probably comes in third when ranked. I'm wonder if I should return it for something else, probably something Xbox Live compatable since I'm getting the Xbox Live starter kit and will only have MechAssault to play on it.
What would you do? And what XBox Live compatable game would you possibly get instead?

Man you could probably trade all that loot for a new car...
Somebody must really like you, or a lot of people like you pretty well...
By the way I have no other useful input on your question

Merry Xmas
And by the way. One word of advice is that DON'T let go of Hitman 2 is a classic and is going to be out of print if it isn't already.

Geez. Are you sure you got enough games? You're getting more games in one day than the total games I own for my PS2.
Anyways, keep Hitman 2. I've never played Splinter Cell, but I'd rank it (bald) head and shoulders above Metal Gear.

I didn't mean to show off, it was more like this: “If you were getting all those games, would you still be interested in playing Hitman 2?”
It was a situation like this: I said, “All the other games are for sure, but you can surprise me with either Unreal Championship or Hitman 2; you choose.” Since I know which one was chosen, I was just wondering if they made the right decision. By all the praise, I guess they did. Thanks everyone!
Also: The Jet Set Radio Future/ Sega GT 2002 game was (obviously) free, as well as Amped (Walmart offered it with their XBox) and Shenmue II (Target promotion; free with the purchase of any other XBox game).
Halo was $30 at Best Buy and Devil May Cry was only $15.

I should have posted it on here. I’m sure a lot of people would have appreciated it. However, in the heat of the moment, I didn’t think about it. Sorry.
Here's the coupon I used:

back on topic.....
Hitman 2 is like Thief 2, put with a more current time setting.
It is similar to Splinter Cell in setup BUT Hitman 2 is much more open, and you have more selection/personal preference on how to go about completing the mission. Although Splinter Cell is not entirely linear, it is not as "open ended" as Hitman 2.
It is NOT like Bond, Time Splitters, Halo, or MOH. It is NOT like Ghost Recon.
I bought Hitman 2 off eBay, and IMO it is not my "type" or game. It is very slow moving (realistic) game that requires allot of puzzling solving, thinking. It does have cool, novel stuff, like choking someone with a wire, wearing other peoples slothes, chloroform, etc. But from what i played, it involves allot of stealth and patience.
I dont know how you are going to get any enjoyment out of those games, since you have so many!.... but i am SHOCKED not to see Ghost Recon on your list! IMO this is the BEST game i have ever played on the xBox. Very realisitic, lots of sniper action, and from what i hear, LIVE play is awesome.

So far I've only opened MechAssualt, Splinter Cell and Metroid Prime (as well as Amped (TOTAL CRAP), which I would have tried to return as a "gift" had it not said "Not for resale" on the cover) and the Jet Set Radio/Sega GT game; but those don't count as they're worthless).
What about Halo? I know it's a very popular game, but how does it compare to Metroid (as they're both first-person shooters). I watched a friend play it once, and it actually seemed kind of bland. I went ahead and got it since it was so cheap, but should I keep it? I really don't know when I'll get around to play it either way...

I suggest you give Amped more time (you may not like it, but it is definately not "total crap")
It is hard at first, until you learn the basics, and get some skill point upgrades.
