Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Two of the best games ever, period.
All of the SNES remakes are killer, as they're all great.
Wario Land 4 is pretty good.
Mario Kart: Super Circuit is great.
Pick up the GBC Zelda oracle games if you haven't played them already.
Metroid Fusion should be awesome, haven't played it to say for sure.
If you like RPGs, get Golden Sun. If you like RTS get Advance Wars.

I need advice also. I got my 6 year old daughter a GBA for christmas and I need to know what games to get her. I was thinking about the barbie jewel thief game but I am not sure how good it would be, anyone have any ideas?

Just picked up Metroid Fusion and its pretty cool so far
(Got the killer deal too... PM'd at Best Buy to Target's 24.88 price, then used a $5 coupon from EGM, which for some reason they put in twice ($10 off instead of $5), then used a $15 gift cert someone game me for a grand total of 77 cents out of pocket besides the gift cert, (so really $15.77))
I'll second the Castlevania Circle of the Moon, haven't tried Harmony of Dissonance yet.
Super Street Fighter 2 is also great.
I just sold Ready to Rumble 2, didn't like it at all, and I've got the Midway Greatest Hits, and the Sinistar version on it is pretty much unplayable.

I would buy a lot more GBA games, but they strike me as too expensive. Especially considering that many are just ports of older games or not that expensive to develop versus a new 3D game. If they were $15-20 I would own a lot more.

I agree. I just bought a GBA and with the exception of Metroid Fusion I can't convince myself to spend more than $20 on a title. The games look nice but the bottom line is that the GBA is still just a time killer.....

What takes up my GBA time:
Metroid Fusion
Yu-Gi-Oh! Eternal Duelist Soul
Advance Wars
Mostly ply the first 2, but AW is still fun after having it for nearly a year now.

I have been able to use expired $5 off coupons from the EGM's so do not throw them away...
A lot of the big GBA games are pretty cheap when they come out.
I just PM'd this past week's Target price ($24.88) for Metroid Fusion at Best Buy, used an expired EGM $5 off $19.99 or more game (which for some reason they entered twice so I got $10 off ) which came to a total of $15.77 after tax (and I had a $15 Gift Card to use also, forked over my GC & 77 cents & got the heck out of dodge)
You can also get the coupons from the gamers' gift cards in the store...
