OK, pick ONE and ONLY one favorite band or musician...

If you had to narrow your favorites down to just one, and only one, musician or band (musical act, in other words) who stands head and shoulders above anyone else in your mind, who would it be? Maybe not the "best" band of all time (is anybody else sick of such designations?) but your favorite, the one you like the most and if you were stuck on the old cliched desert island, you'd take one of their CDs. Beatles or Eminem? John Coltrane or Limp Biskit? Led Zeppelin or Pat Boone? Pick one, let's see what people pick...

(I'll let the thread go for a while before I name my choice so I don't start anybody off with a bias )
